Designated Body

Certifer Belgorail is a Designated Body for verification of compliance with the National Notified Technical Rules in the absence of Technical Specifications for Interoperability or derogations, and is thereby authorised to assess conformity of conventional railway subsystems and high speed subsystems in accordance with the applicable National Technical Rules.

The Ministerial Decrees detailing these decisions were published in the Moniteur Belge on 27 January 2005 (Ministerial Decree of 17 January 2005) and 13 June 2007 (Ministerial Decree of 2 May 2007) both modified by the Royal Decree of 16 June 2015 published in the Moniteur Belge on 26 June 2015.
